Dr. Larry Wapiennik, II, a podiatric physician and surgeon, specializes in conservative and surgical treatment options of the foot and ankle. Dr. Wapiennik brings to this area experience he has obtained through his training in foot and ankle surgery at Kaiser Permanente and the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. As a foot and ankle specialist, Dr. Wapiennik is able to treat a wide variety of conditions from the common to the complex. Further enhancing those abilities with the latest technoloical advancements, Dr. Wapiennik is certified in use of Extracorporeal Shock Wave Therapy for chronic heel pain. He currently has a private practice with his father in Merrilville and Highland, Indiana and is on staff at several area hospitals. Dr. Wapiennik is also a volunteer physician at St. Clare Clinic in Crown Point, Indiana.
